Tranquil Home Residential Apartment
Tranquil Home Residential Apartment is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully demonstrates the harmonious integration of modern simplicity with functional living spaces, completed in April 2019 in Taichung, Taiwan. This sophisticated 465-square-meter dwelling, designed by Chi Wei Lin and Yu Chih Chang, showcases an innovative approach to multi-generational living, accommodating seven family members through thoughtfully arranged public and private spaces. The design philosophy emphasizes the creation of a soothing atmosphere through the strategic use of calm, composed colors and modern aesthetic elements. The public areas, comprising the dining room, kitchen, and living room, feature meticulously selected grain stone tiles that create a natural flow between spaces, while the private areas incorporate warm wood flooring to establish tranquil personal retreats. The project's distinctive features include capacious storage solutions seamlessly integrated into the modern design language, leather headboards, and cloth wallpapers in bedrooms that enhance comfort and functionality. The open-plan public spaces are specifically designed to foster family interactions, while the private areas provide carefully crafted personal sanctuaries with ample storage solutions. This exceptional design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to residential interior design through its innovative use of space, material selection excellence, and thoughtful consideration of multi-generational living requirements.
