Touch Interface
Touch Interface is a way for people to use their fingers or a stylus to control digital screens, such as those found on tablets or smartphones. In UI Design, a unique fact is that touch interfaces can support multi-finger gestures, which means designers can create actions that respond to two or more fingers moving together, like pinching to zoom or rotating an image. This allows for more creative and interactive layouts, as designers can map different functions to different finger movements. Touch interfaces can also detect the speed and pressure of a touch, so designers can make buttons or sliders react differently if someone taps quickly or presses harder, giving users more ways to interact with digital content.
