Titus Lighting Fixture
Titus Lighting fixture is an innovative flush-mount lighting solution that exemplifies advanced architectural illumination technology through its distinctive three-part modular design. This sophisticated lighting system, designed by Mahmut Baytas and Gokhan Istipli, represents a significant advancement in outdoor illumination technology, particularly for architectural applications such as facade lighting and ground illumination. The fixture's pioneering tripartite construction separates the power supply from the LED components, resulting in superior thermal management and enhanced operational longevity. Crafted from a combination of galvanized steel, polyamide, and electrostatic painted aluminum, the fixture delivers impressive illumination capabilities with its 9x1W or 12x1W Power LED configuration, producing between 990-1320 lumens of output with an operational lifespan of 30,000 hours. The design's technical sophistication is evident in its IP67 rating, ensuring complete protection against dust and water infiltration, while its versatile color options include white, warm white, natural white, and RGBA capabilities controlled through DMX512 protocol. Measuring 140mm in diameter with a height of 215mm, this lighting fixture's modular architecture facilitates straightforward maintenance and component replacement without necessitating complete system dismantling. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, demonstrates exceptional innovation through its space-craft inspired water-resistant characteristics and practical serviceability features. Its unique construction allows for cost-effective production through the interchangeability of components across different product lines, while maintaining superior performance and durability in architectural lighting applications.
