Tiddlywinks
Tiddlywinks is a game that originated in England in the late 1800s. It is a tabletop game that is played with small, circular discs called winks, which are made of plastic or cardboard, and a larger disc called a squidger. The game is played on a flat surface, usually a table, and the objective is to shoot the winks into a cup or target area on the other side of the playing surface. The game is typically played by two to four players, who take turns shooting their winks with the squidger. The squidger is used to press down on the wink, causing it to flip into the air and hopefully land in the cup or target area. Points are awarded based on the position of the winks in the target area, with the highest points awarded for winks that land directly in the cup. Tiddlywinks has been played competitively for over a century, with national and international tournaments held regularly. The game requires a combination of skill, strategy, and luck, as players must carefully aim their shots while also anticipating their opponents' moves. Despite its simple appearance, tiddlywinks has a rich history and continues to be enjoyed by players of all ages around the world.
