This conceptual gallery space, designed by Omid Majdtaheri and Sara Golzarroshan, draws inspiration from the classic Tetris game, implementing a modular design system where square boxes of identical dimensions are rotated and arranged to create multifunctional display units. The 3200mm x 2800mm x 2400mm space employs locally-sourced clay blocks, chosen for their abundance, cost-effectiveness, and modular nature, complemented by native plants that provide a striking visual contrast. The gallery's design philosophy centers on creating a sanctuary from urban chaos, offering visitors an immersive experience that bridges traditional Yazd architecture with modern retail concepts. The space functions as a frozen moment in time, where the systematic arrangement of display modules invites users to interact with and modify the space's functionality, similar to the changing hands of a timepiece.
