Tianzhurunchen Sales Office is an architecturally distinctive sales facility located in Xiamen, Fujian Province, completed in December 2021, that exemplifies innovative spatial design through its jade-inspired form and sophisticated interior architecture. The project, designed by Donney Fan, integrates curved aesthetics and natural elements to create a harmonious blend of form and function, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design philosophy draws inspiration from stone as a creative origin, utilizing light and shadow to generate dynamic spatial narratives and infinite textural possibilities. The interior features meticulously crafted elements including uneven wood finishes, terrazzo surfaces, and artistically rendered walls that create a seamless transition between spaces. Notable architectural elements include a handcrafted reception desk, curved partitions with glass blocks reaching heights of approximately four meters, and a dramatic curved staircase leading to the second floor. The material palette combines terrazzo, stainless steel, and art paint to achieve a balanced atmosphere that both breathes and remains static. The design successfully overcame significant challenges in executing extensive handmade elements within strict time constraints, particularly in the implementation of curved wooden veneers and unconventional structural elements. The space's aesthetic is further enhanced by thoughtful lighting design, including a distinctive light film shape above the sandbox area that simulates natural skylight, while dark gray artistic elements in the bathroom areas reference primordial earth elements, creating a comprehensive design narrative that resonates with the region's cultural heritage.
