Tianyue One Residence

Tianyue One Residence

Tianyue One Residence is an exemplary residential interior design project situated along the Jialing River in Chongqing, China, distinguished by its harmonious integration of modern aesthetics with natural surroundings. This meticulously crafted 134-square-meter living space, completed in June 2021, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning and innovative design solutions, earning recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The residence features a striking 5.6-meter-long terrace equipped with a thoughtfully designed garden, sofa area, and waterscape element, offering panoramic views of the millennium-old Ciqikou ancient town across the river. The interior design philosophy embraces traditional Chinese Feng Shui principles, emphasizing the natural elements of sunshine, air, and water throughout the space. The sophisticated design scheme employs warm brown tones as its primary palette, masterfully combining white marble and wood textures to create a refined modern aesthetic. The living space underwent a comprehensive transformation that included the removal of dividing walls between the living room and kitchen, resulting in an open-plan layout that maintains distinct functional zones while preserving spatial continuity. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows maximize natural light penetration and frame the spectacular river views, while the bedroom suite incorporates dedicated areas for sleeping, a cloakroom, and bathroom facilities. The project exemplifies excellence in contemporary residential design through its thoughtful consideration of material selection, spatial flow, and the integration of natural elements, creating a harmonious living environment that responds to both practical needs and aesthetic aspirations.
