The Warm Days Residential House
The Warm Days Residential House is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully combines functionality with aesthetic refinement, completed in 2022 and recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. This 130-square-meter dwelling, designed by Yi Chun Chung, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning and material selection, featuring a distinctive entry porch crafted from rattan wood complemented by metal screening elements that create an inviting first impression. The design philosophy emphasizes harmonious living through thoughtful architectural interventions, including an innovative solution to overcome beam and column height differences through elegant slope integration. The interior showcases a sophisticated open-plan layout that maximizes spatial flexibility, incorporating a specially designed paint-finished television wall with integrated indirect lighting that elevates the aesthetic ambiance. Notable design elements include a metal display cabinet that doubles as an artistic focal point during dining experiences, and a kitchen equipped with sliding doors that harmoniously blend functionality with visual elegance. The master bedroom features an imitation water mold material headboard that maintains design continuity with public spaces, while the combination of dark green flannelette and titanium-plated metal elements creates a serene sleeping environment. The project's attention to detail extends to its thoughtfully designed movable dining table and kitchen island, which exemplify the perfect balance between practicality and refined aesthetics, all while maintaining a warm, family-oriented atmosphere that promotes comfortable living and childhood development.
