The Tridea Project Book is a meticulously crafted publication that documents an innovative four-year research project exploring culturally diverse co-creation and collaborative creative practices. This cloth-bound volume, measuring 250mm by 315mm, features a distinctive horizontal triptych cover design executed in purple fabric with metallic pink foil debossing, symbolically representing creativity, mystery, love, and kindness while incorporating playful surrealist elements. The book is structured into three comprehensive chapters: an overview of the project and its creator, detailed brand guidelines, and a visual essay examining the fundamental values of inclusion and diversity. Its materiality and design elements have been thoughtfully conceived to metaphorically represent the project's core philosophy, which addresses societal divisions through collaborative creative practice inspired by the Surrealist parlour game 'The Exquisite Corpse.' The project, which ran from March 2018 to January 2022 in Singapore, explores alternative methods of image production and consumption while investigating diverse and ethical co-creation practices in virtual spaces. Designed by Lisa Winstanley, an Assistant Professor of visual communication, the book serves as both a documentation of the brand's evolution and a physical manifestation of its values. The publication's exceptional design and significant contribution to the field of collaborative creative practice earned it the Silver A' Design Award in the Print and Published Media Design category, recognizing its innovative approach to addressing contemporary social challenges through design.
