The Tree Office

The Tree Office is an innovative architectural landmark that reimagines the traditional concept of a commercial high-rise building by integrating natural elements with urban functionality. This groundbreaking 100-meter tower design challenges conventional skyscraper aesthetics by prioritizing environmental harmony and spatial flexibility over imposing height. Inspired by the organic form of banyan trees, the structure comprises four interconnected towers with cross-shaped cantilever configurations, featuring scattered architectural space boxes suspended from central core tubes. The design's distinctive characteristic lies in its elevated base, which hovers 15 meters above ground level, liberating approximately 23,000 square meters for an urban park space beneath. The building employs a sophisticated grid structure with a minimum pixel size of 8.4 x 8.4 meters, enabling remarkable adaptability in spatial configurations that can accommodate various functions from retail to office spaces. Six different space size types are ingeniously stacked and rotated upward, incorporating multiple outdoor gardens throughout the vertical progression. This bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category represents a paradigm shift in urban architecture, offering a solution that harmoniously blends commercial functionality with environmental consciousness. The design's innovative approach extends beyond mere aesthetics, incorporating seasonal changes and temporal elements into its architectural expression, while its structural system utilizes bidirectional cantilevered space trusses to achieve its unique form. The project exemplifies a forward-thinking response to urban development challenges, prioritizing public space integration, functional flexibility, and environmental sustainability while maintaining its role as a distinctive architectural landmark.
