The Track Office Exhibition Interior
The Track Office Exhibition Interior is an innovative workplace and exhibition space design that seamlessly integrates sports-inspired elements with functional office requirements, created by designers Yu-Ting Wang and Chien-Hsing Chen. Located in Peidou County, Taiwan, this 450-square-meter interior space transforms the conventional factory environment into a dynamic, light-filled workspace that received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design concept draws inspiration from athletic tracks and natural elements, incorporating a distinctive runway layout that serves both as a circulatory path and a metaphorical representation of continuous progress. The interior features extensive use of glass partitions that maximize natural light penetration and create visual connectivity between different functional zones while maintaining acoustic separation. The sophisticated design combines clean, minimalist storage solutions with white board surfaces instead of traditional black glass, establishing a serene yet professional atmosphere. A notable innovation includes LED-illuminated display shelving that creates fabric-like lighting effects, paying homage to the client's textile manufacturing heritage. The space is strategically divided into distinct zones by the track element, incorporating manufacturing machine displays and dedicated working areas along a carefully planned visitor route. The integration of artificial turf and wooden textures adds organic warmth to the environment, while the overall material palette and spatial organization reflect a harmonious balance between professional functionality and creative inspiration.
