This award-winning design, created by Ken Thong and Emma Yap, masterfully divides the space into two distinct yet harmonious areas: a design studio and a showroom, connected through thoughtfully implemented metal-framed folding doors. The concept draws inspiration from the principle of Opposite Attracts, successfully integrating contrasting design elements such as raw industrial materials with refined finishes, creating what the designers term Industrial Glam. The space features an impressive combination of exposed brick walls, natural wood, and cement surfaces juxtaposed against luxurious elements including crystal chandeliers, leather furnishings, and mirror fixtures. The showroom area incorporates a fully-functional kitchen, living area, and convertible dining space, while the design studio maintains an open-plan layout optimized for creative work.
