The Peninsula Duplex Penthouse Duplex Penthouse
The Peninsula Duplex Penthouse Duplex Penthouse is an exemplary luxury residential interior design project located in Shenzhen, China, completed in June 2019, encompassing a spacious 543.9 square meters of living space. This distinguished project, designed by Zhou Wei and Zhu Jing, masterfully integrates contemporary aesthetics with artistic elements to create a sophisticated living environment. The design's most striking feature is its expansive windows that frame panoramic views of mountains, sea, and cityscape, establishing a profound connection between interior and exterior spaces. The interior scheme deliberately eschews conventional luxury tropes in favor of a refined palette incorporating coastal-inspired hues of ocean blue, sand white, and light grey, accented with vibrant yellow touches to express feminine elegance in an innovative way. The extra-high living room demonstrates remarkable restraint in its furnishing, featuring carefully selected sofas and sculptural pieces that respect the social space's grandeur. Particularly noteworthy are the ceiling-mounted art installations inspired by maritime weather patterns, complemented by culturally significant elements including Aegean Sea earthenware and the ceramic sculpture See The Sea. The family room showcases a thoughtfully curated collection of global artifacts, including international coins and artistically displayed ceramic sculptures, reflecting the resident's refined aesthetic sensibilities. This exceptional project, which garnered a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, exemplifies how contemporary luxury residential design can successfully balance artistic expression with functional living spaces, creating an environment that transcends mere opulence to achieve genuine cultural and aesthetic significance.
