The Masion City Clubhouse
The Masion City Clubhouse is an innovative urban exhibition hall and lifestyle experience center located in Chengdu, China, distinguished by its striking white exterior and contemporary minimalist design aesthetic. Completed in September 2017, this 1,700-square-meter architectural masterpiece challenges the traditional dark-colored building conventions of Chengdu's rainy climate through its bold use of white punched aluminum plates fashioned into folding fan windows that envelope the structure's facade, creating an appearance reminiscent of a sophisticated gentleman dressed in pristine white. The interior space, which garnered the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully integrates exhibition areas and office spaces while emphasizing a harmonious blend of modern minimalism and oriental sensibilities. Under the direction of chief designer Michael Chen, the project employs a carefully curated selection of premium materials, including Chinese black stone, volcanic rock, white steel plate, black sandblasted stainless steel, and ultra-white glass, creating an sophisticated environment that balances aesthetic appeal with practical functionality.
