The Magic Residence Interior Design

The Magic Residence Interior Design

The Magic Residence Interior Design is an exemplary residential interior design project located in a new mansion near the Tamsui River in the suburbs of Taipei City, Taiwan, distinguished by its innovative spatial organization and sophisticated aesthetic approach. This 140-square-meter residence, completed in January 2015, showcases a masterful integration of public and private spaces through a sophisticated design language that emphasizes the interplay between functionality and artistic expression. The design's most striking feature is its distinctive use of tree-style black plates that extend from floor to ceiling in three directions at the entrance, creating a dramatic visual impact and serving as a unifying design element throughout the public spaces. The project demonstrates exceptional spatial planning by seamlessly combining the living room, dining room, and study room into a cohesive public area, while maintaining clear functional distinctions. The kitchen bar design exemplifies intelligent space utilization, incorporating multiple functions including storage, entertainment, and dining purposes, all unified through the consistent use of plate elements. A notable aspect of this Silver A' Design Award-winning project is its thoughtful approach to private spaces, particularly evident in the whimsical design of the young daughter's room, which features fairy tale-inspired elements including pink castle-style furniture and ocean-themed mosaic work in the bathroom. The master bedroom showcases sophisticated architectural elements, including an arch-style framework that creates a church-like atmosphere, complemented by strategically placed wedding-themed oil paintings that add personal significance to the space. The overall design successfully balances minimalist white base tones in public areas with distinctive stylistic elements in private spaces, creating a harmonious living environment that caters to both communal and individual needs.
