The Impression Of Feixi Poster

The Impression Of Feixi Poster

The Impression of Feixi Poster is an innovative visual communication design that masterfully blends traditional Chinese calligraphy with contemporary urban elements to create a compelling narrative of Feixi County's evolution and cultural identity. Created in 2024, this 297x210mm poster employs a sophisticated artistic approach where the Chinese characters for Feixi serve as the central visual elements, with the character Fei incorporating modern architectural motifs while Xi embodies historical landmarks, creating a harmonious dialogue between the past and present. The design's distinctive feature lies in its ability to simultaneously appeal to both new and long-time residents by integrating representations of modern developments, such as the Jinzhai Road Double A Bridge, with historical elements from the 2,500-year-old cultural sites like Sanhe Ancient Town. Through meticulous craftsmanship, the design process involved creating hand-drawn calligraphic typefaces and carefully selecting representative elements that were seamlessly integrated into the composition using professional image editing software. The poster, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, successfully addresses the challenge of fostering emotional connections within the community while documenting the rapid urban transformation of Feixi County. Its strategic placement in various public spaces, including bus stops throughout the county, serves to strengthen local identity and showcase the region's dynamic progression from its historical roots to its contemporary achievements.
