The House With Silence And Aroma Residential House
The House with Silence and Aroma Residential House is an exemplary residential interior design project completed in 2018 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, that masterfully integrates Chinese traditional feng shui principles with contemporary modernist aesthetics. This 93.25-square-meter space represents a sophisticated approach to residential design, where curved elements are strategically implemented throughout the entrance room, ceiling, and shelf configurations to create a flowing, expansive atmosphere that counteracts spatial constraints. The design's distinctive features include a luminous stone wall that serves as a noble backdrop, complemented by wooden elements that introduce stability and warmth to the environment. A notable innovation is the implementation of white slabs of varying widths that function as concealed storage solutions, creating a multi-layered spatial experience reminiscent of natural rock formations. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional consideration for the female owner's lifestyle preferences while addressing contemporary urban challenges. The designer, Cheng-Feng Wang, employed innovative material applications that balance aesthetic composition with environmental consciousness, particularly evident in the thoughtful integration of feng shui artifacts within the modern spatial composition. The project's success lies in its ability to harmonize human sensations with natural elements, creating a living environment that transcends mere functionality to achieve spiritual satisfaction through design.
