The Butler Home Organizer/Wall Clock
The Butler Home Organizer/Wall Clock is an innovative multifunctional home organization solution that seamlessly combines practical storage with contemporary design aesthetics. Designed by Curtis Micklish in 2012, this wall-mounted piece addresses the common challenge of keeping essential everyday items organized and readily accessible. Crafted from premium American Black Walnut and Baltic birch, the design features a sophisticated composition that includes dedicated spaces for keys, wallet, mobile phone, glasses, and other daily necessities. The piece's intelligent design incorporates a central slot specifically engineered to accommodate various smartphone models, complemented by a concealed charging solution that maintains a clean, minimalist appearance. The adaptable sliding mechanism ensures compatibility with evolving phone dimensions, demonstrating forward-thinking functionality. Measuring 10 inches by 9 inches by 2.5 inches, the organizer's compact footprint belies its comprehensive storage capabilities. The thoughtful integration of multiple storage solutions within a single unified design represents a significant advancement in residential organization furniture, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category. The design's success lies in its ability to transform scattered everyday items into an organized, aesthetically pleasing wall installation that serves both functional and decorative purposes.
