Texture Rhyme Residential House
Texture Rhyme Residential House is an award-winning residential interior design project completed in 2017 in Hsinchu County, Taiwan, that masterfully combines modern aesthetics with retro elements and floral artistry to create a poetic living environment spanning 430 square meters. The design, conceived by Wen-Ching Wu and Pei-Chun Peng, emphasizes family connectivity through its innovative spatial arrangement, featuring a seamlessly integrated living and dining area that serves as the heart of the home. The project's distinctive characteristics include elegant vintage-inspired tile pathways connecting the entryway to public spaces, and extensively utilized solid wood elements that showcase exquisite craftsmanship through refined finishing procedures. The space is distinguished by its sophisticated indirect lighting system that infuses the vintage-inspired environment with elegant ambiance, while a prominent bar installation in the kitchen-dining area serves as a central gathering point for family activities. The design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and functional innovation. The project's success lies in its thoughtful integration of storage solutions, aesthetic appeal, and practical functionality, creating a harmonious balance between modern living requirements and artistic expression through careful attention to texture, material selection, and spatial flow.
