Sweet-Kit Chilled desert trolley is an innovative mobile dessert presentation and service solution designed by Patrick Sarran in 2016, representing a sophisticated advancement in restaurant furniture design. This elegant mobile showcase combines functionality with aesthetic appeal through its distinctive cylindrical design, featuring a revolutionary 360-degree rotating hood mechanism that operates around an acrylic glass disc. The design incorporates dual moulded beech rings that serve both as rotation tracks and ergonomic handles, facilitating seamless movement and display case access. The structure comprises a wooden hull flanked by acrylic glass discs supporting a Krion board, suspended by stainless steel supports, while housing an advanced cooling system with cold packs and electronic temperature management. The trolley's dimensions (875 x 1250 x 550mm) are carefully calculated to optimize maneuverability while providing ample presentation space. Its construction employs premium materials including solid beech, moulded beech veneer, and PMMA (poly-methyl-methacrylate) for superior light transmission, with the convex hood design strategically concentrating illumination on the displayed items.
