Suyab Space Product Showroom

Suyab Space Product Showroom

Suyab Space Product Showroom is an innovative architectural and interior design project that seamlessly integrates traditional Chinese pavilion aesthetics with modern greenhouse architecture, situated within the campus of a prestigious fine arts academy in Guangzhou, China. This thoughtfully conceived space, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a masterful transformation of a former university canteen into an elegant product showcase and tearoom. The design features extensive use of French windows and a glass roof system that maximizes natural light infiltration, creating an optimal environment for furniture display while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding natural elements. The tearoom pavilion, measuring 6 meters in length, 4 meters in width, and 3.8 meters in height, is distinguished by its innovative structural approach, utilizing recycled construction wood beams carefully selected for their uniform dimensions to preserve their vintage aesthetic appeal. The interior space showcases a harmonious blend of premium materials including South American rosewood, copper, granite, and cattle leather, complemented by carefully curated china, copper wares, and botanical elements. The design's unique architectural composition features a glass greenhouse structure outlined by wooden framework, with decorative joists that filter and soften natural light, creating a refined atmosphere that perfectly embodies the fusion of Sino-modern design philosophy. The artificial landscape integrated into the courtyard strengthens the connection to nature, while the thoughtfully arranged furniture pieces and interior elements work in concert to create a sophisticated environment that serves both commercial and experiential purposes.
