Super Box Package
Super Box Package is an innovative food delivery packaging system designed to maintain restaurant-quality dining experiences during home delivery, particularly developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown measures. This sophisticated packaging solution incorporates several groundbreaking features, including thermochromic ink technology that provides temperature monitoring capabilities, informing consumers when food temperature drops below 40 degrees Celsius. The design comprises multiple modular components with carefully considered asymmetrical shapes that optimize kitchen preparation efficiency and delivery logistics. Crafted from biodegradable materials, including rice-based compounds, the package demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability while maintaining functional excellence. The system includes specialized compartments with dimensions tailored for different food types: a 370mm x 370mm x 55mm hot food box, a 480mm x 185mm x 53mm container for traditional flatbreads, and a 250mm x 170mm x 100mm burger box. Notable design features include integrated separators that prevent food contact and grease transfer, as well as a unique configuration that enables table-free dining experiences. The innovative design earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving an Iron A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing sustainable packaging solutions while maintaining premium food service standards. The project, completed in Istanbul between April and June 2020, represents a significant advancement in food delivery packaging, combining practical functionality with environmental consciousness and sophisticated temperature-monitoring technology.
