Sunshine Plant Nature Commercial
Sunshine Plant Nature Commercial is an innovative interior design project that reimagines a former shopping mall space into a sophisticated pet-focused culinary environment, completed in June 2021 in Taipei, Taiwan. This 132-square-meter commercial space, designed by Hung Jui Chen, masterfully integrates Scandinavian aesthetics with natural elements, featuring a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor spaces through its connection to a 100-square-meter terrace. The design's distinctive characteristics include a sophisticated birdcage mesh concept in the storage room that creates compelling lighting effects while effectively increasing the perceived ceiling height. The space employs a thoughtfully curated material palette, including bendable boards, titanium-plated metal, SPC flooring, Italian special paint, and terrazzo, all working in concert to create a cohesive aesthetic experience. The central teaching area is artfully designed around a curved bar table, accommodating 16 ovens within its operating area, while innovative solutions for concealing air conditioning infrastructure demonstrate technical ingenuity. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, successfully addresses contemporary lifestyle trends by creating a space that combines functionality with aesthetic appeal, featuring light army green colors, curved shapes, and white exterior walls that facilitate a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. The design's emphasis on natural elements and green design principles, coupled with its innovative approach to spatial organization, creates an environment that transcends traditional cooking classroom paradigms while maintaining a strong focus on functionality and user experience.
