Sunac Guobin Road Residential is an innovative architectural development located at the foot of Nanyue Mountain in Nanming District, Guiyang City, China, exemplifying a harmonious integration of urban living with natural landscapes. This significant residential project, spanning approximately 250,000 square meters of land with a total capacity area of 980,000 square meters, demonstrates a sophisticated approach to modern architectural design that draws inspiration from the region's distinctive nine mountains embrace one water geomorphic features. The development's design philosophy centers on creating a seamless dialogue between the urban fabric and natural environment, utilizing a combination of stone and glass curtain wall materials to express a natural artistic conception of simplicity. The architectural composition employs a brick concrete and frame shear structure system, featuring a thoughtful color palette of creamy-white and dark gray to enhance the building's hierarchical presence. The project, which received the Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, showcases innovative solutions to complex topographical challenges through multi-level platform treatments and careful consideration of environmental factors. The design incorporates vertical components and floating plate elements at the building's summit, creating a visual connection with the surrounding natural landscape while addressing practical concerns such as noise reduction from the eastern main road. This residential complex, scheduled for completion in December 2024, represents a significant achievement in contemporary residential architecture, successfully balancing aesthetic appeal with functional efficiency and environmental consciousness.
