Sunac Chongqing Dazhulin TOD Complex is an innovative architectural masterpiece situated in the mountainous terrain of Chongqing, China, exemplifying a harmonious integration of transit-oriented development (TOD) with natural landscape features. This remarkable complex, spanning a gross floor area of 241,920 square meters across a 73,336-square-meter site, incorporates a sophisticated landscape roll design concept inspired by the adjacent canyon park and natural water systems. The development comprises a retail podium of 117,700 square meters, including 7,135 square meters below grade, and 21,000 square meters of apartment space distributed across seven towers. The architectural design ingeniously addresses the challenging mountainous topology, featuring a seamless connection to a light rail station positioned 10 meters above ground level through an innovative third-floor corridor system. The complex's distinctive design elements include a steel-structured cloud-top with cantilevered roof platforms and hexagonal aluminum plate façades, creating a striking visual impact while maintaining functional efficiency.
