Sun Tile Lighting Concept Decorative Lighting Solution
Sun Tile Lighting Concept Decorative Lighting Solution is an innovative architectural lighting design that seamlessly merges Portuguese cultural heritage with contemporary illumination technology. Drawing inspiration from 19th-century tile façade buildings in Lisbon, this sophisticated lighting system transforms traditional bidimensional circular graphics into a three-dimensional interpretation with anthropomorphic characteristics, achieved through the asymmetric development of smooth spherical surfaces. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, encompasses three distinct models: Tower, Horizon, and Level, each serving specific interior lighting purposes through vertical positioning, suspension, or wall mounting respectively. The technological innovation lies in its material composition, utilizing a precise combination of kaolin, sand, and silica, meticulously crafted through controlled baking processes to achieve optimal plasticity. The integration of advanced LED technology, equipped with dimming capabilities and optional Bluetooth control, enables precise illumination management, allowing the fixture to adapt seamlessly to various indoor environments. The Tower model measures 150mm x 57mm x 1668mm, while the Horizon spans 1208mm x 36.5mm x 150mm, and the Level comes in two sizes: 150mm x 46mm x 150mm and 150mm x 46mm x 300mm. This lighting solution exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, creating a sophisticated lighting element that serves both functional and decorative purposes while paying homage to Portuguese architectural heritage.
