Stroll The Sunshine Residence

Stroll The Sunshine Residence

Stroll the Sunshine Residence is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural light, spatial fluidity, and contemporary living requirements. The 214-square-meter space features a distinctive curved glass crenelated parapet wall design on each floor, with three sides strategically oriented to maximize natural light penetration. The design philosophy emphasizes the delicate balance between environmental consciousness and traditional cultural values, manifesting in thoughtfully planned spaces that promote both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The interior layout demonstrates sophisticated space planning, with public areas positioned along a single axis and incorporating sliding doors to modulate privacy levels. The design employs a gradient approach to spatial transition, creating a natural flow from bustling to serene areas while maintaining visual continuity. Materials selection showcases a deliberate contrast between veneer and iron elements, combining delicacy with ruggedness to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The project addresses the challenge of western sun exposure through innovative architectural solutions while preserving abundant natural illumination. A notable feature is the integration of extensive storage solutions, particularly for books, achieved through concealed design elements that maintain spatial harmony. The project, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2018, represents a significant achievement in residential interior design, demonstrating excellence in combining functional requirements with environmental consciousness and aesthetic sophistication.
