Stream Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies contemporary workplace design through its dynamic use of curved architectural elements and thoughtful spatial planning. Located in the Greater Bay Area of China, this 1,000-square-meter office space occupies an entire floor of a commercial building, offering panoramic 360-degree views of the surrounding urban landscape. The design, conceived by Kris Lin and Anda Yang, draws inspiration from the region's natural topography, incorporating flowing curves that echo the rhythms of local rivers and rolling mountains. The centerpiece of the design is an atrium roadshow hall characterized by bold, sculptural curved forms that serve as both an aesthetic statement and a functional division of space. The project, completed in 2021, demonstrates exceptional technical achievement in its implementation of complex curved structures, which are realized through a metal skeleton framework with painted finish. The office layout emphasizes flexibility and mobility, allowing for seamless transitions between open and closed configurations to accommodate various work modes and team sizes. The design's innovative approach to contemporary workplace requirements earned it a Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its outstanding contribution to office design through its integration of local cultural elements, innovative spatial planning, and striking visual aesthetics.
