Strapless Brassieres
A strapless brassiere, also known as a bandeau bra, is a type of brassiere that is designed to be worn without shoulder straps. The bra is typically made from stretchy material that is able to cling to the body and provide support without the need for straps. The bandeau bra is a popular choice for women who want to wear strapless or off-the-shoulder clothing without the worry of visible bra straps. The history of the strapless brassiere dates back to the early 20th century, when women began to wear clothing that exposed more skin. At that time, corsets were the undergarment of choice, but they were not suitable for the new styles of clothing. In the 1930s, the strapless brassiere was introduced as a solution to this problem. The first strapless bras were made from a single piece of fabric that was wrapped around the bust and fastened at the back. Over the years, the design of the strapless brassiere has evolved to include features such as underwire, padding, and silicone strips to help keep the bra in place. Some strapless bras also come with detachable straps, giving women the option to wear the bra with or without straps. While the strapless brassiere is a popular choice for many women, it may not be suitable for all body types. Women with larger busts may find that a strapless bra does not provide enough support, while women with smaller busts may find that the bra slips down or does not stay in place.
