Stone Well Interior Design
Stone Well Interior Design is an exemplary architectural interior design project that seamlessly integrates natural elements with contemporary spatial design, located in the Beitou district. This sophisticated design intervention, spanning 23,027 square meters, masterfully combines commercial hot spring facilities on the ground floor with residential spaces on upper levels, creating a harmonious separation of public and private domains. The design's cornerstone is its innovative approach to hot spring architecture, where open-air bathing areas are thoughtfully incorporated into the building's exterior aesthetics, maintaining both spatial continuity and user privacy. The interior spaces are characterized by an artful combination of diverse stone textures, wooden grille work, and strategic natural lighting through carefully positioned ceiling windows. The bathhouse area particularly exemplifies this design philosophy, featuring an array of stone treatments - from rough-textured walls adorned with climbing vines to precisely patterned stone surfaces surrounding the bathing facilities. The design, which earned a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, is notable for its cave-like aesthetic that creates a primitive yet refined atmosphere. The sophisticated implementation of wooden elements, varying in width and arrangement, generates a visual rhythm throughout the space, particularly evident in the ceiling grilles that create an abstract representation of keyboard-like patterns. Completed in 2016, this project stands as a testament to innovative interior architecture that successfully balances functionality with aesthetic excellence, creating an environment where natural and built elements coexist in perfect harmony.
