Stone Plant Sculpture Sculpture is a minimalist architectural garden installation that represents a groundbreaking fusion of natural and manufactured elements, created by German landscape architect Udo Hubert Dagenbach. This innovative sculptural work forms a perfect cube measuring 130x130x130 centimeters, ingeniously combining Jurassic limestone with meticulously pruned Taxus baccata (yew) plants to create a striking geometric composition. The design, which won the Silver A' Design Award in the Street and City Furniture Design category, exemplifies a European interpretation of Japanese Zen garden principles while incorporating Bauhaus minimalist philosophy, particularly echoing Mies van der Rohe's Less is more doctrine. Originally installed in Bad Zwischenahn, Germany, in 2003, the sculpture found its permanent home at the Prince of Wales Avenue in the United World College in Dilijan, Armenia, in 2015.
