Stone Extension
Stone Extension is a geological phenomenon that occurs when one rock mass is forced above another. This process is most commonly seen in mountain ranges, where the underlying rock is pushed up and over the top of the existing rock. The force of the underlying rock can also cause the upper rock to fracture, creating an extension of the rock mass. In some cases, the extension can be several kilometers in length, with the underlying rock pushing up and over the existing rock. The process is also seen in areas of tectonic activity, such as near fault lines and in areas of volcanic activity.
