Sprinkling Sunlight Exhibition Center
Sprinkling Sunlight Exhibition center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements with functional exhibition space, specifically designed for showcasing sanitary equipment and bathroom fixtures. Completed in 2016 in Taiwan, this sophisticated two-story structure employs water as its primary design inspiration, creating a profound connection between the displayed products and visitors through thoughtful spatial arrangement and lighting design. The ground floor features a carefully curated combination of show windows, information walls, brand design elements, and an artistic staircase that serves as both a functional and aesthetic focal point. A distinctive feature of the design is its innovative lighting system, where strategically placed perforations in the ceiling create a mesmerizing effect of scattered sunlight, reminiscent of natural light filtering through water droplets. The second floor houses the main exhibition area, centered around an expertly designed shower room surrounded by various sanitary products, creating an immersive bathroom environment. Four distinct showrooms, each with floating ceiling designs, utilize white frameworks against dark backgrounds to highlight the unique characteristics of different spatial configurations. The independent yet visually connected nature of these showrooms creates a path-like progression through the space, enhancing the visitor experience and product presentation. This exceptional design, created by Ching-Hua Yang and Tzu-Cheng Cho, was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2017, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to exhibition space design and its innovative approach to product display.
