Spring Earth Residence

Spring Earth Residence

Spring Earth Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project located in Fuzhou, China, that exemplifies contemporary living spaces through its thoughtful integration of modern aesthetics and functional design elements. Created by designer Baoyi Jiang, this sophisticated dwelling was conceived for a young couple anticipating parenthood, embodying a harmonious balance between minimalist design principles and emotional warmth. The project, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, distinguishes itself through its innovative spatial arrangement and careful attention to material selection. The design features a transparent and flexible living area characterized by artistic elements, including 3D decorative paintings, geometric furniture, and a striking orange sofa that creates a vibrant focal point. A notable architectural element is the strategic use of single glass partitioning between the living room and study area, which maintains spatial continuity while establishing distinct functional zones. The children's bedroom showcases particular sensitivity to future needs, incorporating white materials that complement light brown wooden flooring, along with a practical tatami storage system integrated with playful comic wallpaper elements. The color palette throughout the residence demonstrates sophisticated restraint, utilizing neutral tones accented by warm browns and energetic orange hues to achieve a balance between urban sophistication and domestic comfort. The project, completed in 2019, represents a significant achievement in residential interior design, successfully creating an infinite emotional container that responds to both present needs and future family dynamics.
