Spirito Table Lamp
Spirito Table Lamp is an innovative lighting fixture that masterfully combines mystical inspiration with contemporary design principles, created by designer Alexey Danilin. This sophisticated illumination piece draws its conceptual foundation from ancient Celtic traditions of crystal ball divination, dating back to 2000 BC, and modern spiritualistic practices, reimagining these historical elements through the lens of contemporary lighting design. The lamp's distinctive form features a stylized silhouette crafted from transparent glass with gradient treatment, creating an ethereal floating effect that pays homage to its mystical inspiration. Its revolutionary technical design incorporates LED technology positioned in the base, projecting light upward through the gradient-treated glass dome, which then reflects downward to create a mesmerizing halo effect. Standing at 420 millimeters in height with a diameter of 260 millimeters, the lamp employs an ingenious assembly method inspired by Russian matryoshka dolls, where glass elements nest together without visible fasteners, achieving both structural integrity and visual elegance. The design's innovative approach to light distribution, combining direct and reflected illumination, creates an atmospheric glow that transforms any space while maintaining functional lighting requirements. This exceptional design earned the Platinum A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, recognizing its outstanding contribution to contemporary lighting design through its unique combination of artistic vision, technical innovation, and practical functionality. The lamp's ability to create an ethereal ambiance while serving as a functional lighting fixture makes it particularly suitable for both residential and commercial interior spaces where atmospheric lighting is desired.
