Solve Working Station
Solve Working Station is an innovative furniture design solution created specifically for the evolving home-office culture, conceived and developed by designers S. Cihangiroglu, G. Aykac and D. Gunaydin. This sophisticated workstation, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2021, represents a comprehensive approach to modern work requirements by seamlessly integrating personal and professional needs into a single, cohesive unit. The design features a thoughtfully engineered 136x75 cm table top crafted from MDF, supported by a multifunctional metal frame and two wooden legs, with overall dimensions of 144x94x75 cm. Its innovative storage solutions include two hidden drawers, three concealed boxes, dual cable management canals, and a specialized hollow section. The metal frame serves multiple purposes, accommodating sticky notes, tablet support, and various demountable accessories including lighting fixtures and a privacy felt panel that creates a focused work environment in dynamic spaces. The ergonomic design incorporates practical elements such as a leg rest and an integrated hanger for waste management, while the table's trailing edge features a dedicated channel for electronic devices. Developed during 2020-2021 in response to changing work patterns during the global pandemic, this workstation exemplifies rational and creative design thinking by offering customizable features and multifunctional solutions that address contemporary workplace needs. The design's emphasis on aesthetic appeal combined with practical functionality makes it particularly suitable for both home offices and professional environments, representing a significant advancement in furniture design that responds to the evolving nature of work spaces.
