Soco Work Coworking Space
Soco Work Coworking Space is an innovative interior design project that reimagines the traditional concept of shared workspaces through a culturally-inspired lens, located in the suburban area of Bangkok, Thailand. Completed in January 2022, this 550-square-metre facility represents a paradigm shift in coworking space design, drawing inspiration from Thai culinary culture's emphasis on personalization and taste preferences. The space employs a sophisticated multi-level design strategy that maximizes the vertical dimensions of the interior, creating distinct zones with descending seating levels that enhance spatial perception and maintain unobstructed sightlines throughout the facility. The design philosophy integrates contemporary workplace requirements with traditional Thai sensibilities, offering various workspace configurations that cater to different working styles and preferences, much like the customizable nature of Thai cuisine. Notable technological innovations include an advanced QR code-based security system for membership management and a sophisticated hotdesk booking platform that enables members to reserve preferred seating arrangements. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional spatial efficiency through its elevated common areas and thoughtfully segmented zones, creating an environment that promotes both collaboration and individual focus. Recognized for its excellence in interior space design with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, this project stands as a testament to innovative workplace design that addresses the evolving needs of Thailand's contemporary workforce while maintaining cultural relevance and operational efficiency.
