Smile Ceiling / Wall Lamp

Smile Ceiling / Wall Lamp

Smile Ceiling / Wall Lamp is an innovative lighting fixture designed by Olga Podolskaya that seamlessly merges functional illumination with artistic expression through its distinctive arc-shaped design. This versatile lighting solution, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, features a striking 1800 mm long frame crafted from a combination of metal and plastic materials, engineered for both ceiling and wall mounting applications. The design's most notable characteristic is its arc formation that creates a smile-like aesthetic, illuminated by two integrated LED units (2x30W) positioned within the cover plates at the mounting points, producing a soft, diffused light that enhances the fixture's visual appeal while providing practical illumination. The lamp's sophisticated design allows for creative freedom in interior spaces, enabling users to create custom compositions by installing multiple units in various configurations, while its lighting scenarios can be individually controlled for enhanced versatility. Incorporating sustainable design principles, the fixture utilizes recycled plastic and aluminum components that maintain future recyclability, demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility in contemporary lighting design. The lamp's substantial dimensions of 1800×340×100 cm, including mounting hardware, create a bold architectural statement while maintaining practical functionality through its lay-on mounted installation system. This lighting fixture represents a harmonious blend of serious technological innovation and playful design character, serving both as a source of local illumination and as a decorative accent that can transform interior spaces through its distinctive presence and adaptable configuration options.
