Sky Bridge
Sky Bridge is a structure that connects two or more buildings at an elevated level, and in recent architectural innovation, designers use sky bridges to help buildings move together during earthquakes or strong winds. Special joints and flexible materials allow the bridge to absorb movement, which helps keep the bridge and connected buildings safe. Some sky bridges have gardens or public spaces, turning them into places where people can relax or meet, not only walk from one building to another. Designers use new materials like lightweight metals and glass to make sky bridges look light and open, while still being strong. Sky bridges can help with energy savings by sharing heating or cooling systems between buildings, which is a new way to make cities more efficient.
