Skgarden Villas Residential Development
Skgarden Villas Residential Development is an innovative residential architectural project located on a cliff in Yalıkavak, embodying a harmonious blend of contemporary design and natural landscape integration. This prestigious development, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, comprises eleven unique villas thoughtfully positioned across 4,000 square meters of land, each offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. The architectural conception emphasizes simplicity and rationality in functionality, construction, and exploitation, featuring a sophisticated material palette that combines stone, concrete, glass, and wooden panels. Each villa is distinguished by its floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive balconies, and private terraces that create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces while maintaining resident privacy. The development's design excellence is evident in its careful consideration of the geographical advantages, with each villa specifically designed for its location to maximize views and natural light. Notable features include infinity pools that appear to merge with the horizon, lush landscaping that enhances the connection with nature, and interiors that flow organically from indoor to outdoor spaces. The project, initiated in 2018, showcases innovative architectural solutions that address the challenges of cliff-side construction while prioritizing sustainability and environmental integration. The soft color palette allows the structures to blend harmoniously with their surroundings, achieving a natural aesthetic that complements the coastal environment. This residential development represents a significant achievement in modern architectural design, demonstrating how contemporary living spaces can be created while respecting and enhancing their natural setting.
