Shisha

Shisha, also known as hookah, narghile, or waterpipe, is a type of smoking device that originated in the Middle East and has spread to many parts of the world. It consists of a head, body, bowl, and hose, with the head holding the tobacco, the body holding the water, the bowl being heated to produce smoke, and the hose used to inhale the smoke. The smoke passes through the water, which cools it down before it is inhaled. Shisha smoking is a social activity that is often enjoyed in groups, with people taking turns inhaling from the hose. It is commonly associated with Middle Eastern culture, but has become popular in many other countries as well. Shisha is often flavored with fruit or other sweet flavors, and is considered by some to be a less harmful alternative to smoking cigarettes. However, shisha smoking is not without its risks. While the water in the pipe may cool down the smoke, it does not filter out harmful chemicals, and shisha smoke can contain many of the same toxins as cigarette smoke. In addition, sharing a hose can spread infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and hepatitis. Despite these risks, shisha smoking remains popular in many parts of the world. It is often enjoyed in cafes and restaurants, and is a common feature at social gatherings and celebrations.
