Shenzhen Meland Club Kids Theme Park
Shenzhen Meland Club Kids Theme Park is an innovative indoor parent-child recreational facility located in China, exemplifying a groundbreaking approach to experiential design through its unique four-seasons themed concept. This 6,000-square-meter space represents a sophisticated integration of aesthetic imagination and functional practicality, featuring a three-layer platform design that maximizes vertical space utilization while creating an immersive environment. The design, conceived by Creative Designer Xiang Li and team, transforms traditional playground architecture by incorporating geometric figures and varied textures that create a surreal, fairy tale-like atmosphere. The space is strategically organized with carefully planned circulation paths, featuring artificially created atriums with surrounding staircases that facilitate intuitive navigation. The facility's innovative design elements include multifunctional components such as plant-themed storage solutions and flower-shaped seating areas, while technical equipment is elegantly concealed within decorative elements like suspended bulbs. The layout progression begins with a vibrant spring-themed welcome area, incorporating dynamic features such as rotating slides and climbing ropes on the second floor, while the third floor houses more contemplative activities including dress-up areas and DIY classrooms. This thoughtful spatial organization minimizes interference between active and passive zones while maintaining optimal flow. The project, which was completed in October 2020, earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial design, functionality, and innovative approach to creating engaging environments for children and families.
