The product's distinctive packaging design, created by designers Guo Xu and Saoxing Fang, draws inspiration from ancient Chinese scrolls and book-binding techniques, featuring a sophisticated black exterior accented with gold detailing that conveys gravitas and cultural significance. The packaging's dimensions of 145mm width, 110mm depth, and 300mm height are meticulously calculated to create an imposing presence, while the ceramic bottle employs surface baking and gilding processes to achieve its refined aesthetic. The design philosophy incorporates elements of traditional Chinese scholarly artifacts, particularly evident in the scroll-like bottle form and the outer packaging's book-binding aesthetic, creating a visual narrative that pays homage to Confucian principles of benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom, and integrity. The production process involves specialized silk printing techniques on carefully selected papers, with particular attention paid to achieving precise gilding effects on both the metal card elements and the ceramic bottle surface. This innovative approach to liquor packaging, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, represents a significant achievement in combining cultural heritage with modern design sensibilities. The product originated from Maotai town, a region renowned for its exceptional liquor production, and was notably featured as the hospitality wine at the BBS of China Zengzi Culture Committee in Guiyang in 2018, embodying the concept of presenting Chinese culture to the world through the medium of premium spirits.
