Shanghai Bay Residence and Private Club is a distinguished residential and social space located at the West Bund of Huangpu River in Shanghai, encompassing 1,240 square meters of meticulously designed living space. Conceived and executed by designer Isabelle Zhao Peng, this innovative project redefines contemporary luxury living by seamlessly integrating residential, professional, recreational, and social functions within a bow-shaped layout. The design, completed in 2017, represents a significant advancement in modern Chinese metropolitan living spaces, featuring thoughtfully arranged zones that maintain both transparency and privacy through strategic use of glass partitions. The interior design philosophy emphasizes simplicity and sophistication, employing premium materials including marble, wooden veneer, glass, mirror, and black stainless steel to create a neutral, calming atmosphere that serves multiple purposes. The residence comprises two main units of 530 square meters each, complemented by a 180-square-meter gallery space, creating a natural gallery living environment that maximizes the spectacular views of Shanghai's iconic West Bund.
