Shang Yuan Demonstration Center is an exemplary architectural and landscape design achievement that masterfully integrates northern and southern Chinese garden traditions, situated in the historic city of Wuxi, China. The center's landscape design ingeniously employs techniques such as hollow-out features, borrowed scenery, and irregular arrangement to create an illusion of extended space within its confined boundaries, exemplifying the traditional Chinese aesthetic principle of indefinite forms within definite laws.
