Shade Me If You Can Sunglasses is an innovative avant-garde eyewear design that reimagines traditional sunglasses through a sculptural interpretation of facial anatomy, specifically drawing inspiration from the eyebrow line and eye sockets. Created by jewelry designer Elina Gleizer, this handcrafted accessory features a distinctive horizontal walnut wood visor that serves as both a structural bridge and an artistic statement. The design's unique construction incorporates two free-floating monocles hinged into hand-carved walnut, complemented by gold-plated brass frames positioned diagonally. The sophisticated integration of materials includes traditional silver crafting techniques, gold-plated brass elements, and leather components, measuring 140mm in width, 155mm in depth, and 55mm in height. The sunglasses' unconventional form challenges traditional eyewear conventions through its crescent-shaped handles, which encourage a hat-like wearing experience from the head downward.
