SG Design Office Office
SG Design Office Office is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies contemporary minimalist aesthetics through its sophisticated architectural language and innovative use of light and space. Located in Hangzhou and completed in 2018, this 350-square-meter office space demonstrates a masterful integration of form and function, characterized by its striking contrast between light and dark elements, and the harmonious interplay of lines and surfaces. The design, conceived by Xie Yinqiu, employs a predominantly white palette that creates a sharp, concise visual impact, particularly evident in the entrance and aisle areas. The space's architectural composition is distinguished by its thoughtful manipulation of spatial angles and lighting techniques, including the innovative use of wall grooving and electrified atomized glass to introduce natural light, complemented by high-end imported small-size spotlights and concealed lighting solutions that achieve a modern aesthetic of invisible light sources. The project's functional layout emphasizes openness and adaptability, notably featured in its multi-functional conference hall, while custom-designed elements such as long tables, lighting fixtures, and storage solutions are seamlessly integrated into the building's architecture. The design incorporates technological elements through features like electrified glass and moonlight projection lamps, which add a futuristic dimension to the serene environment. This exceptional interior design project was recognized with a Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to contemporary office design through its innovative spatial planning, lighting solutions, and minimalist aesthetic principles.
