Sframe // Luce E Volume Outdoor Lighting Versatile Furniture
Sframe // Luce e Volume Outdoor Lighting Versatile Furniture is an innovative outdoor lighting solution and versatile furniture piece that exemplifies the harmonious integration of functionality and environmental consciousness in contemporary design. This modular system, crafted entirely by Sicilian artisans, comprises a trio of elements - table, stool, and lighting - engineered specifically to address the prevalent issue of light pollution in coastal commercial spaces while maintaining practical utility. The design features a minimalist 50x50x50 cm stainless steel square frame construction with a 2x2 cm profile, incorporating a recessed LED light system (E27) and a reinforced welded mesh top. Its distinctive characteristic lies in its ability to direct illumination downward, ensuring safe navigation while preserving the natural ambiance and visibility of the night sky. The design's versatility is demonstrated through its dual functionality as both a seating solution and side table, making it particularly suitable for hospitality environments. The modular nature of the system allows for scalable installations, where multiple units can be deployed to create cohesive outdoor spaces without compromising the surrounding environment's natural lighting conditions. This design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, represents a significant advancement in sustainable outdoor furniture design, emphasizing local craftsmanship and environmental responsibility while addressing practical commercial needs. The product's emphasis on reducing material consumption and optimizing work-flow efficiency in its production process further underscores its commitment to sustainable design principles.
