Seven Chakras Multifunctional Experience Pavilion
Seven Chakras Multifunctional Experience Pavilion is an innovative architectural interior design project that masterfully integrates Eastern philosophy with contemporary spatial functionality. This sophisticated pavilion, spanning 8,640 square feet, is conceptually inspired by the seven chakras of the human body and ancient Chinese philosophy, particularly drawing from Zhuangzi's Peripatetic Journey. The pavilion's spatial arrangement ingeniously mirrors the form of a meditating person when viewed in plan, with seven strategic pillars corresponding to the body's chakra points: Base, Navel, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, Crown, and Brahma. The design's most remarkable feature is its transformative central element - a mobile wooden box measuring 4.7m x 2.7m x 2.4m, which can be controlled via iPad to create various functional spaces. This versatile component can seamlessly transition between different roles, functioning as a meditation room entrance, waiting area, stage, concert space, or VIP room by sliding along a pool. The pavilion employs premium materials including walnut, glass, carpet, cement, and steel, creating an atmosphere that harmoniously balances aesthetics with functionality. Custom-designed elements, including adaptable bookshelves and environmentally conscious recycling systems, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. The space serves multiple purposes, accommodating activities ranging from lectures and meditation sessions to tea ceremonies and art exhibitions, while maintaining its core identity as a cultural hub. This exceptional design, which earned the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design, represents a significant achievement in creating spaces that honor traditional Eastern wisdom while embracing contemporary design innovation.
