Sesa Office Building

Sesa Office Building

Sesa Office Building is a meticulously renovated contemporary office space that exemplifies innovative interior architecture and sustainable design principles. Located in Izmir-Kemalpasa, Turkey, this three-floor, 1000-square-meter structure represents a sophisticated transformation of an existing building, completed in 2016 by designers Davut Tambahar and Cigdem Tambahar. The project's distinctive approach combines functionality with aesthetic appeal, featuring transparent spatial divisions through extensive use of glass separators that maximize natural daylight penetration throughout the workspace. The design philosophy emphasizes sustainability and modularity, incorporating a vibrant color palette that energizes the work environment while maintaining professional sophistication. Materials such as concrete, hardwood, and steel were strategically integrated to create a harmonious balance between industrial strength and contemporary elegance. The renovation process, executed while the building remained operational, demonstrated exceptional project management skills in maintaining minimal disruption to ongoing business activities. The design's success in creating an efficient, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing workplace environment was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2018, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to contemporary office design solutions.
